Brazil secures market opening in Morocco for DDG exports

The Brazilian government celebrated the recent authorization granted by Morocco for the export of DDG (Dried Distiller Grains) to the African country. DDG, a byproduct resulting from the distillation of grains in the agribusiness industry, is widely used in the production of animal feed, due to its high nutritional value, which contributes to increasing the protein and energy content of livestock. Morocco is already one of Brazil's main trading partners on the African continent, ranking fourth in the ranking of destinations for Brazilian agricultural exports, which totaled US$ 1.23 billion in 2023.
