The number of vessels scheduled to load sugar at Brazilian ports has decreased to 43, loading a total of 1.454 million tons, down from 55 and 1.947 million tons respectively, according to Williams Brasil shipping agency. The Port of Santos is the leader in shipments with 689,855 tons. The scheduled cargo mainly consists of the VHP variety. Brazilian sugar and molasses exports reached an average daily revenue of US$ 56.580 million in December, a 44.5% drop from December 2023, with a average daily volume shipped of 116,293 tons, a 38.7% drop from the same period of the previous year.
