The Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro, participated this Thursday (19), in Brasília, in a meeting with the Council of Ambassadors of the League of Arab States. The meeting, held at the embassy of Palestine, brought together diplomats, government representatives, agribusiness entrepreneurs, and the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. The objective was to expand commercial cooperation and strengthen partnerships in science and technology. Fávaro recalled that Brazil and Arab countries will complete 80 years of diplomatic relations in 2025 and highlighted the role of agribusiness in this relationship. “Of all that Brazil exports to the Arab League, 75% comes from agribusiness. I highlight poultry, beef, sugar, corn, and honey. Brazil is a major food supplier for Arab countries,” he stated.
