The Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) has forecasted a significant increase in the production of meat and cereals over the next decade. Beef production is expected to rise by 14.9%, contributing to an overall meat production growth of 23%. Cereal production, on the other hand, is projected to increase by 36.8%, reaching 370 million tons. The states of Mato Grosso and the region of Matopiba are expected to lead this growth in cereal production. The report highlights the role of the domestic market, exports, and increased productivity in driving these projections.
