The United States has approved the entry of Brazilian hay, yerba mate, and dried clove flowers from Brazil without requiring phytosanitary certification, due to the country's highly regarded sanitary and phytosanitary control system. This decision could boost Brazilian exports of these products, especially yerba mate, which Brazil produced in large quantities in 2023. This development is expected to be beneficial for the export markets of beef, coffee, and orange juice from Brazil. Since 2023, Brazilian agribusiness has secured 307 new business opportunities in 64 destinations, including seven new market openings in 2025.
