A bold agricultural project is transforming a desert region in southern Egypt into a massive sugar beet farm, supported by UAE investment and Chinese technology. The "Canal Sugar" project will cultivate approximately 50,000 hectares of desert land in Egypt's Minya Province, supplying a large sugar factory with an annual production capacity of 900,000 tons of raw sugar.
