According to StoneX, a global financial services company, the estimate for wheat production in the 2025/26 season is projected at 7.5 million tons, a 2% increase from the previous survey. According to the company's Risk Management consultant, Jonathan Pinheiro, the new number reflects an improvement in productivity in the southern states, with a highlight for Rio Grande do Sul, where production was raised to 3.3 million tons.
