In 2024, Brazil's coffee exports hit a record high of 46.4 million 60-kg bags, marking a 32.2% increase from the previous year, with foreign exchange revenue reaching US$ 11.3 billion in the first 11 months. Despite challenges such as port infrastructure issues and shipping delays, the sector's professionalism and creativity allowed for international commitments to be met. The United States, Germany, Belgium, Italy, and Japan were the top importers of Brazilian coffee, with the European Union absorbing 47.7% of exports. Both Arabica and Canephora coffee types saw increased demand, especially the specialized coffee segment with its superior quality and sustainability certifications. The Port of Santos remained the primary shipping point for Brazilian coffee.
