In November 2020, Brazil achieved a record-breaking month for coffee exports, shipping out 4.3 million bags and reaching a turnover of $541.9 million, a 32.2% increase compared to the same period in 2019. This marks the third consecutive month of record exports for the world's largest coffee producer, with the total export value for the year reaching $5.03 billion, a 6.7% increase from the first 11 months of 2019. Arabica coffee was the highest earner in international sales, accounting for 79.3% of total coffee sales. The US continues to be the primary consumer of Brazilian coffee, with Germany, Belgium, Italy, and Japan also significant importers. This performance highlights the resilience of Brazil's coffee sector amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
