The Stavropol fields have successfully completed the harvest season, significantly improving on the poor yields of the previous year with over 8.59 million tons of grain produced. This success is credited to the region's dedication and state support through the 'Development of Agriculture' program, despite facing challenges during the grain harvest due to weather conditions. The Ipatovsky, Krasnogvardeisky, and Novoaleksandrovsky districts were the most productive. The grain is primarily used locally, but a surplus of about six million tons is expected for export. Agriculture contributes significantly to the region's economy, generating half of its earnings and 60% of its profit from agricultural product sales, providing around 11 billion rubles in annual tax revenue.
