Buan Fisheries Cooperative Releases Sea Bream Juveniles

Buan Fisheries Cooperative (Chairman Song Gwang-bok) released 316,100 sea bream fry on the coastal waters of Wido-myeon in Buan County on the 13th to support sea bream resource development, which is a key income source for local fishermen. This event was initiated at the request of the public-private council by Korea Offshore Wind Power, which plans to first release sea bream and subsequently release flatfish. The sea bream release was conducted with a project budget of 121 million won from the previously carried over 242 million won (from Korea Offshore Wind Power) for the purpose of increasing income for fishermen affected by the Southwest Offshore Wind Power Project.
