[Agricultural, Fisheries, and Livestock Newspaper=Reporter Nara Park] The Yesan 4-H Association has launched a smart agriculture field education program to strengthen the future competitiveness of young farmers. From the 17th to the 18th, the association conducted a two-day field visit in Wanju and Gimje, Jeollabuk-do, and Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do, to spread practical education on smart agriculture. This visit focused on increasing understanding of smart agriculture to actively respond to changing agricultural environments, and on directly experiencing operating cases of strawberry and leaf vegetable smart farms. On the first day, the National Institute of Horticultural and Herbal Science was visited to examine research trends and future horticultural technologies in smart agriculture, and a strawberry smart farm household in Gimje was also visited to observe the environment.
