Bulgaria's rapeseed exports have significantly decreased, with the current season's exports being half of the previous season's. The country has seen the lowest export in the last six seasons, with only about 0.11 Mt of rapeseed exported. Despite a predicted harvest of around 0.25 - 0.28Mt, Bulgaria has become a net importer of rapeseed due to increased processing needs and difficulties in importing sunflowers. Over 150 Kt of rapeseed was imported by mid-March.
