Bulgarian soft wheat triumphed at the international auction in Tunisia.

The Office of Cereals (ODC) of Tunisia purchased at an international tender the planned 125,000 tons of soft wheat, 100,000 tons of hard wheat, and 125,000 tons of feed barley of random origin in lots of 25,000 tons on a C&F basis, reported the online edition APK-Inform, citing its sources among market participants. The winner for the soft wheat is the Bulgarian company Buildcom, which will deliver 2 of the 5 lots for $255.77 and $256.27 per ton. One lot each will be supplied by the companies Finagrit for $256.16 per ton, Louis Dreyfus for $257.02, and Soufflet for $257.14 per ton. For comparison – at the last tender for the import of soft wheat to Tunisia, held 4 weeks ago, the delivery of 125,000 tons was agreed at $257.86 per ton C&F, and at the tender in Jordan this week, 60,000 tons of Bulgarian wheat from Buildcom were purchased for $263 per ton C&F.
