REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG — President Director of Perum Bulog Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani ensures that the prices of medium and premium rice are in safe condition according to the maximum retail price (HET) set by the government ahead of the New Year 2026. “We can convey that the prices of basic needs are being closely monitored and are very stable. For premium rice, the price is Rp 14,900 per kilogram, in accordance with the maximum HET. Meanwhile, medium non-SPHP rice is priced at Rp 13,500 per kilogram,” said Ahmad after reviewing food prices at the Sederhana Market, Bandung City, West Java, on Sunday (12/28/2025). Ahmad added that the prices of rice under the Food Supply and Price Stabilization Program (SPHP) are also being monitored and are stable at Rp 12,500 per kilogram or Rp 62,500 per a five-kilogram package.
