REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KARAWANG — Perum Bulog ensures that the national rice stock is safe and sufficient to meet the needs of the public ahead of Christmas and New Year 2025. The availability of rice in all Bulog warehouses is recorded at over 3.8 million tons. President Director of Perum Bulog, Marga Taufiq, said that the stock is not only sufficient in volume but also in good condition thanks to the implementation of strict standard operating procedures (SOP) in every warehouse. Quality control is carried out in layers through laboratory inspections and integrated pest control systems. “Our stock is sufficient, more than sufficient. The amount is 3.8 million tons and all of it is still in good condition,” said Marga in Desa Kepuh, Karawang, on Tuesday (11/4/2025).
