REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Bulog will intensify the delivery of premium rice to the eastern regions of Indonesia ahead of Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026. Bulog CEO Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani conveyed that the shipments are targeted for Maluku, Papua, and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) to ensure food availability for the people. Today, Thursday (27/11/2025), Bulog carried out the initial shipment to Batam, amounting to 48 tons of premium rice with the Setra Ramos and Punakawan brands. “So it’s not just this that we will send to Batam, but we will also send to the eastern regions of Indonesia, specifically. In Maluku, Papua, NTT, we will also send because many of our brothers and sisters in the eastern regions of Indonesia are Nasrani,” said Rizal in Jakarta, Thursday (27/11/2025).
