REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The Operational and Public Services Director of BULOG, Mokhamad Suyamto, said that BULOG will continue to carry out its mandate as the spearhead of national food stabilization. As a strategic food state-owned enterprise, Suyamto conveyed that BULOG has a role in supporting prices at the farmer level and stabilizing prices at the consumer level. “In the spirit of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, we believe that food sovereignty can only be realized through the collaboration of all elements of the nation, including the government, business actors, and the community in maintaining Indonesia's food security,” Suyamto told Republika in Jakarta on Friday (15/8/2025).
