The transaction includes Bunge facilities in Danville, Illinois; Worthington, Indiana; Crete, Nebraska; Red Oak, Iowa; Muleshoe, Texas; Atchison, Kansas; and Queretaro, Mexico. Bunge’s exit from corn milling in North America comes as food manufacturers face ongoing pressure to optimise supply chains and adapt to shifting consumer preferences, including demand for simpler ingredients and more sustainable sourcing.
