Caçapava do Sul registers first harvest of gladioli

For the first time in history, the municipality of Caçapava do Sul records the harvest of gladioli, marking an important advance for the regional floriculture and family agriculture. Through the 16th phase of the Project Flowers for All, Adelson de Rosso Dias and Lisiane dos Passos Consul, owners of the Sítio Chaleira Preta, received a technical visit from Emater/RS-Ascar in partnership with the PhenoGlad team from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) and the Federal University of the São Francisco Valley (Univasf). The guidance integrated the planting, harvesting, and post-harvesting stages of gladioli, in which the producers gave preference to a fully organic production, using only humus in their fertilization.
