Alambique cachaças produced in Brazil will have a seal of origin and authenticity to increase the traceability of the product amid recent cases of beverage contamination by methanol. The seal of origin for alambique cachaça, developed by the National Association of Alambique Cachaça (Anpaq), is expected to be implemented at the beginning of 2026.
