Cambodia has achieved its highest agricultural export level in the past five years, with a total of nearly 5.8 million tons exported and revenue of around 2.7 billion USD by the end of May 2024. This success is attributed to investments in enhancing agricultural processing for export. The country's main exports include rice, fresh cassava, fresh mango, and semi-processed cashew nuts. Rice exports, especially to China, have significantly contributed to this revenue, with a surplus potentially leading to increased exports. Cassava exports have seen a sevenfold increase compared to the previous year, and cashew nut exports have surged by 61%. Fresh mango exports have also doubled in the first half of 2024.
