Cambodia: Turkey supports the development of a sustainable cashew value chain through livelihood creation projects

Source: information.gov.kh The Republic of Turkey continues to accompany and support Cambodia in its efforts to develop rural areas and enhance capacity through income generation, employment, and skills development projects, funded by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA). The information was announced on 30/01/2026 on the MoINFO application. From 26/01 to 31/01/2026, three projects funded by TİKA were officially inaugurated with the participation of TİKA representatives, the Turkish Ambassador to Cambodia, Ms. Ülkü Kocaefe, and domestic partners. Notably, the project "Enhancing Agricultural Community Capacity through Sustainable Almond Processing in Cambodia" implemented in Kampong Cham province is the second project of TİKA aimed at providing technical equipment to agricultural communities for almond production, processing, and packaging.
