Canada has seen a decrease in exports of key agricultural products, including canola, soybeans, and barley, for the week of February 1-7, as reported by Statistics Canada. Specifically, canola exports dropped significantly to 169.1 thousand tons from 258.5 thousand tons the previous week. Soybean exports also declined to 60.5 thousand tons from 63.4 thousand tons, while barley exports decreased to 67.4 thousand tons from 108.8 thousand tons. However, durum wheat, peas, and lentils exports increased. Wheat exports, on the other hand, saw an increase, reaching 480.5 thousand tons, which is part of a larger trend of a 30% increase in total wheat shipments from Canada since the start of the current marketing year compared to the same period last season.
