The Port of Santos handled 16.13 million tons in November, the highest figure for the month, according to the Port Authority of Santos. The year-to-date total is 171.62 million tons, also a record for the period. Among the loaded cargoes, sugar, corn, and soybeans each surpassed 2 million tons, leading the month's performance. In discharges, the highlight was fertilizer, with a volume exceeding 1 million tons. The movement of containers reaches a cumulative total of 5.4 million TEU (standard unit equivalent to a 20-foot container) in 2025, an 8% increase from 2024. In November, there were 489.15 thousand TEU, a 5.3% increase from the same month in 2024.
