Paraguay has received authorization to export sheep meat to Israel, thanks to its compliance with the health standards set by the Israeli Veterinary and Animal Health Service (IVSAH). This development is seen as a significant milestone by the National Animal Quality and Health Service (Senacsa) and the sheep production sector, with the first shipment expected to contain about 2,000 kilos. The increased demand for sheep meat is credited to growing consumer preference, which is leading to more meatpacking plants including it in their product ranges.
