Vietnam's cashew nut export industry experienced a significant growth in October 2024, exporting 65.22 thousand tons and earning over 424 million USD, marking a 1.3% increase in volume and an 18.4% increase in value compared to the same period in 2023. From January to October 2024, the industry exported 609.23 thousand tons, generating nearly 3.58 billion USD, showing a 17.9% increase in volume and a 21.4% increase in value compared to the previous year. This growth has allowed the industry to surpass its annual export target in the first 10 months of the year. The average export price per ton of cashew nuts in October 2024 was 6,507 USD, down slightly from September but up significantly from October 2023. The industry has seen growth in exports to most traditional and potential markets, with the exception of Saudi Arabia, and has experienced double-digit growth in exports to the United States, China, the Netherlands, and the United Arab Emirates.
