Cashew nut exports of Vietnam will prosper again?

Cashew exports increased in both quantity and value in the first 7 months of 2023, signaling a positive signal for Vietnam's cashew industry in the second half of 2023. According to statistics of the Institute of Strategy and Policy of Industry and Trade, the export volume of cashew nuts in July 2023 is estimated at 55 thousand tons with a value of 311 million USD, bringing the total export volume and value. Cashew nuts in the first 7 months of 2023 reached 334 thousand tons and 1.95 billion USD, up 13.1% in volume and 9.8% in value over the same period in 2022. The average export price of cashew nuts in the first 7 months of 2023 is estimated at USD 5,819/ton, down 3% compared to the same period in 2022. Cashew nut is one of the agricultural products with export value of over 1 billion USD after the first 7 months of the year.
