The Official Gazette of Castilla y León (BOCL) published on October 29 the Order by which aid is called for the drafting of forest management plans, provided for in the framework of the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy of Spain for the period 2023-2027 and co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). The purpose of this aid is to increase the area of forest that has a forest management plan, in which preventive actions are established aimed at achieving a forest state and management that reduces damage from fires, natural disasters, and catastrophes. The aid can be received by individuals or legal entities that are owners of forest exploitations or lands in a private regime, groups formed by several owners of forest exploitations; local entities can only group among themselves, not being able to group with any other type of beneficiary, and communities of property, owners of forest exploitations or lands in a private regime.
