Castile and León Hams Receive the 2025 Foods of Spain Awards

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing and Food (MAPA) has awarded the Alimentos de España prize for the "best hams 2025" to the brand Jamón Serrano 24 - Monte Nevado in the serrano category and to Dehesa de Prim and Monte Nevado (ex aequo) for their Iberian acorn hams, both produced in Castilla y León. Specifically, the prize for Best Serrano Ham or Other Quality Figures has gone to "Jamón Serrano 24-Monte Nevado" presented by Jamones Segovia from Carbonero el Mayor (Segovia), covered by the Guaranteed Traditional Specialty (ETG) Serrano Ham, as published by MAPA in the Official State Gazette (BOE). Additionally, the Best Iberian Acorn Ham prize ex aequo has been awarded to: Dehesa de Prim with its 100% Iberian acorn ham presented by Jamón Prim Salamanca from Macoteca (Salamanca) and to Monte Nevado, also presented by Jamones Segovia.
