The Minister of Agriculture of the Generalitat, Òscar Ordeig, has explained that they have opened a line of credit and are studying other measures of support for the livestock sector due to African swine fever (ASF), while also launching a plan to further improve the biosecurity of farms. Ordeig appeared at the Palau de la Generalitat after a meeting with mayors of towns within a 20-kilometer radius of the surveillance zone of the Collserola area (Barcelona) where ASF was detected, a meeting that also included the Minister of the Presidency, Albert Dalmau, and the Minister of the Interior, Núria Parlon.
