Turkey: Cauliflower exports increase in Samsun's Bafra district

Cauliflower, which is grown on an area of approximately 15 thousand decares in the Bafra district of Samsun, is sent to the European Union countries and Russia. Bafra Plain, which has fertile soils formed by the alluviums carried by Kızılırmak, stands out with its winter vegetable production as well as summer. İbrahim Sağlam, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, told Anadolu Agency (AA) that vegetables are produced on an area of 150 thousand decares in the winter season throughout Samsun.
