Cereal market in Poland on 03/09/2023

Between August 28 and September 3, 2023, according to data from the Integrated Agricultural Market Information System of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the price for consumer wheat was PLN 947/t, i.e. 1% less than in the previous week. At the same time, the price of this grain was similar to that recorded a month earlier, but 38.5% lower than last year. In the week in question, the price of consumer wheat on the EU market was EUR 220/t, i.e. 4% more than the week before. This grain was 1% more expensive than a month ago, but 33% cheaper than a year ago. In Poland, the price of consumer wheat expressed in the EU currency was 4% lower than the average in the European Union and amounted to EUR 212/t. It was, among others, 5% lower than in the Czech Republic, 6% than in France, but 9% higher than in Slovakia and 5% than in Romania.
