The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development's ZSRIR has reported changes in national grain purchase prices from June 10-16, 2024. Consumer wheat prices were up by 1% week-on-week and 13% month-on-month, but down by 1% year-on-year. Consumer rye prices saw a slight weekly decrease but an 11% monthly increase, with a 8% year-on-year decrease. Feed barley prices were 1% lower week-on-week but 5% higher month-on-month, with an 8% year-on-year decrease. Triticale prices increased slightly week-on-week and month-on-month but decreased by 11% year-on-year. Corn prices saw a slight weekly change but significant monthly and annual fluctuations. In contrast, export grain prices on monitored foreign markets saw reductions in the third week of June 2024, with notable decreases in the prices of wheat, corn, and feed barley in the USA, France, and Black Sea ports.
