Changes to the Strategic Plan have been approved

At the last government meeting, changes to the Strategic Plan for the period 2023-2027 were approved. The proposals are related to changes in interventions in the form of direct payments, sectoral interventions in the field of "Beekeeping," as well as changes in interventions in the area of rural development, reports the press service of the Council of Ministers. A new intervention "Organic Livestock Farming" is being introduced, aimed at farmers who have so far applied under the eco-scheme for organic farming (agricultural animals), as well as for new applicants. This intervention will be part of the interventions in the field of environment and climate, with the support for organic livestock farming moving from the First Pillar to the Second Pillar essentially not changing the objectives of the previously applied eco-scheme, as well as the type of supported animals, according to the government press service.
