Changwon Ungdong Nonghyup, Nongsinbo Gyeongnam Center, and Rural Labor Assistance

Last June 6, Woongdong Nonghyup (Chairman Roh Ho-young) and the Agricultural, Forestry, and Fisheries Credit Guarantee Fund Gyeongnam Regional Guarantee Center (Center Director Choi Jeong-in) conducted a rural labor assistance event at a mulberry farm in Sosa-dong, Jinhae-gu. They engaged in mulberry harvesting volunteer activities to help the farm, which was experiencing difficulties due to a labor shortage. Chairman Roh Ho-young said, "Currently, the countryside is facing many difficulties due to labor shortages caused by population decline and aging." He added, "Woongdong Nonghyup will actively continue to carry out labor assistance movements." Center Director Choi Jeong-in said, "The Agricultural Credit Guarantee Fund Gyeongnam Center will make continuous efforts to help with the rural labor shortage situation, even if just a little bit."
