In Vietnam, plums are considered a low-cost fruit, sold at 40,000 - 50,000 VND/kg, and are also used for decoration. However, in Northern China, plums are regarded as the 'king of fruits,' with prices soaring to 100 NDT (342,000 VND)/kg due to the challenges of transporting and preserving the fruit in the colder climate. The high price is attributed to the fruit's superior nutritional value, which includes essential amino acids.
