In Candelaria, a few kilometers from Posadas, two young graphic designers decided to transform their life project into a productive experience that stands out for innovation and pride in local food production. Hugo Herrera and Ivana Matvichuk are the founders of Raiza, a family business that was born in the midst of the pandemic with the incorporation first of the hydroponic system for the production of leafy vegetables, then with the development of a comprehensive line of frozen plant-based products and which now reaches the national market with flavored cassava chip snacks, the first of their kind made in Argentina. “A health problem in the family led us to rethink what we were looking for. We had seen the hydroponic system in Brazil and it caught our attention.
