Cheese production in Omsk Oblast increased by 10.9%

According to Omskstat, from January to October of this year, 10.6 thousand tons of cheese were produced in the Omsk region. This is 10.9% more than in the same period last year. The production of butter amounted to 10.5 thousand tons, which is 7.6% more than a year earlier. The production of milk, excluding raw milk, was 130.7 thousand tons, and sour cream production was 7.8 thousand tons. Also, over the ten months of 2025 in the Omsk region, there was an increase in the production of meat products: — poultry meat and food by-products by 72% (up to 32.3 thousand tons); — meat, meat-containing chilled, frozen semi-finished products by 20.5% (up to 59.1 thousand tons); — beef by 13.9% (up to 5.5 thousand tons); — pork by 2.6% (up to 49.9 thousand tons); — meat, meat-containing and poultry meat and by-products chilled, frozen culinary products by 1.4% (up to 4.3 thousand tons).
