The city recently announced that, as part of the Rural Agreement Project by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, it plans to establish a Multi-Value Daily Life Center in Haemian by 2028 and a Complex Culture and Sports Center in Gobuk-myeon. The Multi-Value Daily Life Center will be constructed in Eupnaerri, Haemian, with an area of 1,620 square meters and two floors above ground. It will feature a village café, cooking studio, children's indoor playground, silver classroom, and a multipurpose gymnasium. The Complex Culture and Sports Center will be located in Gagri, Gobuk-myeon, with an area of 1,450 square meters and two floors above ground. It will include a village café, shared kitchen, communal laundry facilities, and a library.
