In Peru there are approximately 13,000 grilled chicken poultry, whose demand amounts to more than 2.9 tons of potatoes per day, revealed the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI). A poultry industry can consume more than 100 kilos of potatoes per day, as indicated by the specialist of the General Directorate of Agricultural Development and Agroecology (DGDAA) of MIDAGRI, Juan Miguel Quevedo. The consumption of grilled chicken experiences an annual growth of 7%, according to data managed by the Peruvian Poultry Association (APA), which also indicates that, in our country, 4.5 grilled chickens are consumed per person per year .
