Starting from November 10 of this year, Chile and Brazil officially began the exchange of electronic phytosanitary certificates for the trade of agricultural and forestry products. This advancement modernizes inspection processes, reduces paper-based procedures, and strengthens security and efficiency in bilateral trade. Agriculture Minister Ignacia Fernández highlighted that this achievement is part of the commitment of President Gabriel Boric's government to strengthen the competitiveness, sustainability, and modernization of the agro-export sector.
