Chile and the United States strengthen bilateral relations for the exchange of fresh fruits

A delegation from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and its Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), visited our country last week in order to move forward, together with representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Agricultural Service and Ganadero (SAG), on issues of mutual interest related to the bilateral exchange of fresh fruits, where the progress for blueberry exports from the US to Chile, the approval implementation process of the Systems Approach for Chilean table grapes, the application of irradiation for exports of grapes and blueberries to the US, progress in the implementation of a substitute product for methyl bromide, among other topics.
