Beef production in the country has seen a decrease of 2.8%, totaling 15,808.6 tons, and the number of cattle slaughtered for human consumption has also decreased by 7.2%, totaling 26,382 heads. Despite this, the national cattle profit saw a slight decrease of 3.2%, with the Los Ríos and Los Lagos Regional Grouping accounting for 39.2% of this profit. However, the total cattle auctioned at fairs in the Los Lagos and Aysén Regional Grouping saw a significant increase of 24.4%, with the national cattle auction also increasing by 16.7%.
