Chile's annual cherry exports have surpassed 600,000 tons, with 83% coming from members of the Chilean Cherry Committee. As the 2025/26 cherry season begins, the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association will hold two seminars during the China International Fruit Expo (Booth No.: E7 C3) and the Asia International Fruit and Vegetable Expo (Booth No.: Hall 3, #N3G2), focusing on sharing the mid-season promotional plan tailored to the rapidly rising demand of regional urban consumers in China.
Recently, the Chilean Cherry Committee, a subsidiary of the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association, updated its membership list, which now includes 103 member companies covering industry giants and specialized small and medium-sized orchards. Currently, only members are authorized to use the Frutas de Chile logo on packaging and promotional materials. By identifying the Frutas de Chile logo on cherry packaging, purchasers can ensure additional quality assurance for the entire value chain—from importers to end consumers—when sourcing cherries from committee members.
Chilean cherries have shone on the global market thanks to a rigorous member quality system that maintains industry credibility and consumer trust through quality. The Chilean Cherry Committee pays close attention to product quality management of its member units, from planting techniques, harvesting processes, to automated sorting, packaging, and cold chain storage in the processing phase, and even cross-border transportation, with every link being crucial.
In addition to jointly safeguarding the quality of Chilean cherries, member companies are continuously investing in promoting trade facilitation in export markets, focusing on the Chinese market and key regional cities. Representatives of the association have conducted extensive market trend analysis, identifying rising demand for high-end cherries in regional cities and the increasing popularity of cherries as a daily snack. As the 2025/26 cherry season approaches, the association sincerely invites cherry importers and distributors to visit the booth and discuss cooperation with the on-site cherry exporters and the association team.
