According to the Fruit Citrus Committee of Chile, citrus exports during this season increased by 48% compared to the previous season and 16% above the average of the last three seasons. The main destination market continues to be the United States, receiving 88.2% of the shipments, while the remaining volume is exported to the Far East, Latin America, Europe, Canada, Russia, and the Middle East. The president of the committee, Juan Enrique Ortúzar, stated that the season ended well, with strong recoveries in the exported volume of clementines, mandarins, lemons, and oranges.
