China imports dried chili products from Africa for the first time

On August 4, Changsha Customs issued an entry cargo inspection and quarantine certificate for 200 kilograms of dried chili produced in Rwanda. This is the first time China has imported African dried chili products. The shipment was declared to Changsha Customs by Hunan International Development Co., Ltd. in a national customs clearance integration method, and was cleared at the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport port. According to the contract, the Rwandan supplier will export 50,000 tons of dried chilies to Hunan within 5 years. It is understood that dried chilies are "plant-derived foods".
