In December, Ukraine shipped 58 thousand tons of corn to China with a total grain export volume of 1.31 million tons. This was reported by analysts at Spike Brokers. As of December 18, the main volumes of grain were shipped to Turkey (365 thousand tons) and Italy (312 thousand tons). The largest share of corn is exported to Europe (40.7%) and the Middle East countries (40%), with key destinations being Italy, Spain, Turkey, and Lebanon. North Africa accounted for about 15% of exports, Asia for 11%, mainly due to China and South Korea. According to analysts at Spike Brokers, Ukrainian corn shows high diversification and a stable presence in the EU, MENA, and Asia markets.
