According to data from Tharos, the carrying capacity of China's krill fishing fleet has grown to 21,707 tons.
The Norwegian krill fleet has a capacity of 11,388 tons, including the 3,000-ton capacity of the Jan Mayen fishing vessel purchased by Aker QRILL, which will be operational in 2026.
Other major krill fishing nations include South Korea (3,000 tons), Ukraine (1,800 tons), and Chile (1,738 tons).
