The Philippines has become the leading buyer of Brazil's pork exports for the first time this year, marking a 103.3% increase to a total of 206 thousand tons. This shift comes as Brazil's pork exports have seen a 10.7% increase in volume from January to October, reaching 1.121 billion tons, and are projected to grow by 5.2% in revenue to $2.482 billion in 2024. Other significant buyers include China, Chile, Hong Kong, and Japan. October saw the second-best monthly balance in the history of Brazilian pork exports, with a total of 130.9 thousand tons and record revenue of $313.3 million.
